I love the snow

one week into norway

Today was ok good, but tonight will probably be awesome because were opening presents! Now how cool is that!.
Yeah, oh and let me tell you about the past few days.
on Tuesday I saw Avatar the movie and it was "AWESOME"!
And it snowed on Friday, it snowed 3 to 4 inches!, and on that day i made a snow man 1 & half yeah it took me awill to make the bottom. well, thats all thats was exiting so far well, two weeks left.

First I got dressed, and that means a lot of coats, and took the sled with three runners down to the park by the sea and played on the hill. Then I came home and had hot chocolate milk. and then I watched cartoon network in norwegian.

A day with Bestamor. we went for a walk. we harvested really really long ice cycles.  We had a open faced sandwich for lunch.  We played on the computer. We talked in Norwegian. We had a nice time.

it was -3'C which To convert from C to F, try these calculations manually.
Tf = (9/5)*Tc+32; Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit
SO:
32 -3 = 29, and 29 * 9/5 = 52.2. For the final calculation, remove the 32. 52.2 - 32 = 10.2

Bergenhus Fortress - Rosenkrantz Tower

We parked the car at the top of the mountain by the University i Bergen, and walked past the Johannas Kirken Cathedral church) and down the steep ice steps to the bottom, a couple blocks to the city plaza, and on down to the fisherman's wharf, and then we turned down the street walking past Bryggen buildings and the to the Vaagen waterfront.
We started walking at the top of the mountain by the University of Bergen, past the Johanneskirken or cathedral, down the enormously steep stairs of Vestre Torggaten, through the city plaza, along the Vaagen that is a famous wharf with the Bryygen row of shop that are over 1000 years old, and up the hill to the Bergenhus castle built in 1200's to explore the Rosenkrantz Tower. the long walk was 2.1 Kilometers each way. even with wool tights on under my jeans, two hoodies and a ski coat, with the temperature -11 °C I was very cold. Tomorrow it should snow.

Froze my butt off!

 

we walked all over town until my legs were so sore from the jeans rubbing them that it felt like they were bleeding. saw lots of buses, and I wanted to call a taxi to take us back home.

I got bored at the gingerbread city, but I really liked the comic book store and it was hard to choose my new cards I could have got a 100 and been real happy.

I liked the roll that we got at the bakery, it was a filled donut with coconut topping.  Magnus about freaked out when we had to pay 10Kroner ($.60) to use the toilet, that was just weird.

I was really glad to get home and take my jeans off and put on some comfy pants, we played Yu Gi Oh! by a blazing fireplace. that is how I thawed out.

Cold Walk

Today I played outside, well actually, we went to get our dogs leash that my dads sister/my aunt forgot there. after that we went to the back yard,and played in the ice,and played fetch with the dog. After the back yard we climb the hill in a Maritime mild temperate / marine west coast climate by the hemiboreal forest.
